Who We Are
Welcome to Greenview Farms! We are so glad that you found us and are hopeful to share a piece of the farm with you. We are located just north of Raleigh, NC in the beautiful and historic Franklin County. Our farm is family-owned and operated where all of our animals receive the best of care and are raised to just taste better. We believe the Lord has entrusted us to steward everything that He has given us and want to make sure the food that we consume and pass on to others has been given the absolute best life possible. We are so thankful you have chosen to trust our farm with your table!
What We Do
Greenview Farms is dedicated to raising food the right way. It's not quick or cheap, but it's good, ethical, and tasty! Practicing regenerative farming, we rotate our animals to improve the land year after year. In turn, the land takes care of our animals and feeds them well with rich vegetation and minerals. We do our absolute best to give the animals access to the environments that they love most and thrive in. Currently, Greenview Farms raises beef, pork, and poultry for meat. In addition, we care for our mini-jerseys and dairy goats.
The Difference
Do you ever wonder why you can buy a 3lb chicken already cooked for you in your local grocery store for $6.00, and why your local farmer charges more than $5.00 per pound? We did. When we initially began our family, we wanted to support local farms but were quickly surprised by the difference in price. We didn't know what we didn't know. We soon learned that we can barely get a baby chick to our homestead for the same $6.00. We were also surprised by the price of non-gmo grain, and surprised by the amount of time it took to care for the animals every day.
Our greatest surprise, however, was the difference. When we began raising meat for our own family, we realized the difference in the taste, in our health, and in the satisfaction we get by stewarding the land and caring for the animals in a way that honors the Lord.
